LED Filament Bulbs Is Perfect For Your Home In Murrieta!
A LED filament bulb is a light bulb that uses LEDs as its filaments. One of the major advantages of using LED filament bulbs is its longevity. Decorative LED filament bulbs is an energy efficient way of setting the mood in your dining room.
Important usage of LED filament bulbs is in its outdoor applications. LED filament bulbs to create elegant and cozy warm glow which same as incandescent vintage light bulbs. As LED filament bulbs are getting more popular those are some points we should keep in mind.
Due to their low energy consumption, these LED filament bulbs will reduce your electricity bill when used to replace the inefficient decorative bulbs.
What are filament LED Bulbs or vintage LED bulbs?
Up until now, LED bulbs have looked fairly unconventional. This is primarily due to the use of flat chip based LEDs that have provided very little in the way of design flexibility. Some manufacturers such as CREE have developed unique filament tower technology to arrange chip based LEDs vertically inside a bulb to mimic a traditional light pattern but the external appearance of the bulb still looks fairly foreign to anyone used to a traditional incandescent bulb.
What is an LED Filament Anyway?
LED Filament bulbs look just like their traditional incandescent counterparts thanks to a unique new LED technology that allows for very small LED emitters to be arranged in a linear filament style package. These emitters are then powered using a traditional glass insulated circuit similar to that found in a traditional incandescent bulb. The end result is a bulb that functions and looks virtually identical to an incandescent. The best part is LED filament bulbs can come in all shapes and sizes just like an incandescent. The filament LEDs can even be made with super warm 2200K color temperatures or coated glass to provide a vintage look just like original Edison or Marconi style filament bulbs. These bulbs are perfect for restaurants, high end retail stores, or even homes that wish to show off a fixture where a typical LED just wouldn’t look proper. Read more here.
LED filament bulbs are available in a variety of glass shapes including a globe, ball, torpedo, mini reflector, and more, so you can use them anywhere you use a regular incandescent bulb.
Converting to LED lights: everything you need to know
It depends if they are low-voltage or mains. You can tell this as low voltage bulbs have ‘pins’ (right – see below) to connect them and mains have ‘pegs’ (left). If they are pegs it’s not a problem, but I’d suggest you replace them all anyway. Halogen bulbs use so much electricity for the light they produce – just feel their heat – that it’s a false economy to wait until they blow to replace them.
If they are low voltage (pins) it’s a bit more complicated. They will have a transformer either in the ceiling or light fitting. Some LED bulbs, like the Philips Master LED range, have in-built circuitry that can deal with most (but not all) transformers, so you don’t have to change them. In other cases, you need to replace the transformer with an LED driver. This is because the transformers are too overpowered for the small amount of electricity that LEDs need.
You will need an electrician for that.Lots of people tried LED lighting when it was first available and it often produced dim, cold puddles of light. Those memories still persist, so in fact a lot of what I do is to persuade people that this is no longer the case. I take a selection of bulbs to people’s homes so they can see the range of colours, brightnesses, fittings and so on, so they can try before they buy. See more here.
An added benefit of LED filament bulbs is that they have remarkable energy efficiency and have an extended life span, so they last longer, are much more reliable and save you money.
15 BENEFITS OF LED LIGHTING
Every business is (or should be) looking for more efficient energy solutions. What’s the easiest way to quickly reduce your energy use? Simply switching from filament to LED lighting. For years, LEDs were high cost alternatives to the fluorescent bulb, a compact fluorescent, with several other problems such as bad colors, harsh light and poor dimming abilities. But in the last year the price of LED lights has dropped significantly, the colors have been modified, and they are more flexible than ever.
Benefit #1: Long Lifetime
LED bulbs have an operational lifetime expectation of up to 11 years of continuous operation, or 22 years at 50% operation. If you leave a LED fixture on for 8 hours per day it would take around 20 years before you’d have to replace the LED bulb. Lighting diodes emit lower output levels over a very long period of time and become less bright, while LEDs maintain their original brightness throughout their lifespan.Benefit #2: Efficiency
LEDs use less power, with an estimated energy efficiency of 80%-90% when compared to traditional lighting and conventional light bulbs. Because of the long lifespan of LED lights, the maintenance work is significantly less, meaning you’ll see big energy savings. Read full article here.
LED Filament Bulbs Can Save Energy
LED filament bulbs are substantially more energy-efficient and produce less heat. In the application sector, the LED filament bulbs are applied in vintage bulbs, candle lights, light bulbs, and decorative lights for existing and replacement demands. The best part is LED filament bulbs can come in all shapes and sizes just like an incandescent.
LED filament bulbs are helping to reduce energy consumption without you even having to think about it. Coupled with market projections for the coming years, LED filament bulbs are surely the next generation in the evolution of LED lighting. Application Led filament bulbs can be widely applied in home and public places, such as living room, kitchen, hotel, hall, office, etc, call us here: (951) 805-1262.
